3.
Horizontal carriageway markings (unless otherwise determined, hereinafter — markings) are divided on permanent and temporary markings.
Permanent markings have white colour, except for marking lines 1.4, 1.10, 1.17.1, 1.17.2, 1.26, having yellow colour. Marking lines 1.1–1.3, 1.5, 1.6, 1.11 may have yellow colour in cases provided by this Annex. Marking 1.14.2 has elements of yellow colour.
Temporary markings have orange colour and are used in places where road and other works are performed, in cases of operative change of the road traffic organization connected with ensuring its safety or performance of special events.
If temporary markings contradict permanent markings, road-users must follow the temporary markings.

4.
It is prohibited to cross marking lines 1.1–1.3, except for the cases of using marking line 1.1 to define borders of parking areas for vehicles, and marking lines 1.2 of white color situated on the right side of the driver for standing of the vehicle on a verge (on the left side of the driver when the vehicle exits from a verge after its stop).
Marking line 1.1 may be crossed also for overtaking of a single vehicle moving at a speed of less than 30 km/h, and to pass a static obstruction on the road endangering the traffic.
-
5.
Marking lines 1.5–1.8 may be crossed from any side, except for intersections with roundabouts.
-
6.
Marking line 1.9 may be crossed on a section of road between reversible traffic lights if it situated on the right side of the driver. Upon turning-on of green signals of reversible traffic lights, marking line 1.9 may be crossed from any side if the line separates lanes with on which the traffic is permitted in the same direction. Upon turning-off of reversible traffic lights, the driver must immediately switch to the right beyond marking line 1.9. When reversible traffic lights are turned off or upon a prohibitory signal on them, it is prohibited to cross marking line 1.9 situated on the left side.
-
7.
It is permitted to cross marking line 1.11 only on the side of a broken line, and on the side of a continuous line — only when finishing the overtaking or passing an obstruction.
-
8.
In cases when meanings of marking lines and road signs are different, road-users must follow the road signs.
