Vertical road markings (hereinafter — markings) 2.1.1–2.1.3 indicate vertical elements of road structures (bridge footing, overpasses, flyovers, front sides of parapet walls), if these elements endanger the traffic of vehicles. Plates with markings 2.1.1–2.1.3 may be installed on supports of road signs 4.2.1–4.2.3.

Marking 2.2 indicates a lower edge of the drifted construction of bridges, crossovers and flyovers.

Marking 2.3 indicates round pedestals installed on dividing strips or traffic islands.

Marking 2.4.1 is made with a red retroreflective element and indicates signal stakes, including shortened ones, pillars, supports for fences, etc., situated on the right from the carriageway.

Marking 2.4.2 is made with a white or yellow retroreflective element and indicates signal stakes, including shortened ones, pillars, supports for fences, etc., situated on the left from the carriageway.
