Chapter 1. Brake systems

• 1. The effectiveness of braking of the service brake system does not comply with the requirements of technical normative legal acts of the republican body of state administration on standardization, meteorology and certification (hereinafter — technical normative legal acts).
• 2. The hydraulic brake drive is not hermetic, there is leaking brake fluid.
• 3. Lack of hermeticity of pneumatic or pneumohydraulic brake drive, which leads to a drop in air pressure when the engine is still by more than 0.05 MPa (0.5 kg/cm²) in 15 minutes after full activation of the drive.
• 4. The manometer of pneumatic or pneumohydraulic brake drive is inoperative.
• 5. Parking brake system does not provide stationary condition of:

  — vehicles with full load on the slope of up to 16 percent, inclusive;

  — unladden and fully equipped cars and buses, on the slope of up to 23 percent, inclusive;

  — unladden and fully equipped trucks and road-trains, on the slope of up to 31 percent, inclusive.

• 6. Lever (handle) of the parking brake system control is not fixed with the locking device.
• 7. There are (is):

  — details with cracks or permanent residual deformation;

  — contact of the pipeline of the brake drive with elements of the vehicle, not specified by its design.
