Chapter 5. Wheels and tires

• 25. Tires of cars have the residual height of the tread pattern of less than 1.6 mm, of trucks — 1 mm, buses — 2 mm, of motorcycles and mopeds — 0.8 mm. The norms of residual height of tires' tread pattern for trailers are established as similar to those for tires of power-driven vehicles with which the trailers participate in the road traffic.

  A tire is deemed to be unfit for service if there is one wear indicator located at the bottom of a tread groove, when wear is even, or two indicators in each of two cuts — when wear of the tread lug is uneven.

• 26. Tires have local damage (breakthroughs, cuts, ruptures), uncovering cord, and also carcass delaminating, separation of tread and sidewall, cracking from tire's aging.
• 27. There is fixation bolt (screw) missing and/or there are disk and wheel rim cracks.
• 28. Tires do not comply with the vehicle's model on their size or admissible load.
• 29. One axle of a bus, car or trailer to it has diagonal tires fitted with radial tires or tires with different tread patterns.
